Mosaico Specialty Papers pursues a philosophy of flexibility and innovation, working with commitment to the constant optimization of its production plants.
With this in mind, during 2021 the Lugo di Vicenza plant saw the implementation of a new embossing machine. The new machine was specially designed by the PSM company and allowed for a significant improvement in the production process. Thanks to the automatic unloading system and the two winding stations, the new embossing machine allows a higher level of automation and greater flexibility in production: the machine allows working at an effective full size of 2,200 mm, providing a maximum format of 2,200 mm or, alternatively, two smaller reels. And there is more: with a maximum speed of 200 meters per minute, the estimated capacity of the machine when fully operational reaches 30 tons per day.
Thus, the new year at the Lugo plant opens with a significant increase in the production capacity for wine and beer labels, guaranteeing the excellent quality and added value that distinguishes Mosaico’s production.
The paper mill in Lugo di Vicenza is one of the five Mosaico plants located in Northern Italy. The five plants collectively produce over 400,000 tons of paper per year.
The organization of Mosaico's production provides that several paper mills can produce the same product, even through different procedures and in a wide range of weights and finishes.
Thanks to the flexibility and quality of its production, Mosaico is proud to timely satisfy all of its customers' requests, whether for large productions or for the niche sectors.
